Story #10 - Saturday clean up day! Eastern time: 1:30 pm

Samara and her family are outside cleaning up all of the leaves and branches that were broken off their Palm trees in their yard. "I never seen so many leaves like this before!" Samara said. She was surrounded by hundreds of leaves and debris left behind by Hurricane Matthew. "We are just so blessed that this is all that we have to clean up after that Hurricane, because it could have done so much more damage to our home. So many people have died already from this storm and we have continue praying for the others in its path. We also have to pray for the families that have lost loved ones in this storm." said Samantha's mom. "That is so sad." said Samara. It took her family about 45 minutes picking up all the debris in their big back yard and also in their front yard. They were all so exhausted, dirty, and hungry by the time they finished. "I'm hungry, what's for lunch?" said Ethan. "After you and Samara wash up then I will have a few turkey sandwiches and fruit prepared for you." their mom said. Samara and Ethan went to wash up right away and was very thankful to have their family safe and sound at home. Samara then said a quick prayer for the families that were hurt and suffered a loss during Hurricane Matthew.
