Story #17 - Samara and Tammy after Class, Eastern time: Monday, October 25, 11:25 am

Tammy was still upset with Samara for almost getting her in trouble with Mr. Harris in Geography class. She was walking five steps ahead of Samara because she did not want to talk to her. "Wait up, Tammy!" Samara ran to catch up. "What do you want, Sam? Haven't you gotten me in enough trouble today!?" Tammy walked a little faster. "Slow down, girl, what's up with you? You didn't get in trouble, so why you still mad?" Tammy suddenly stopped walking and frowned at Samara again, "You are a trip, loca. Don't ever do that again!" Samara looked confused and said, "Do what?" Tammy raised her voice a little louder, "Talk to me in class, because some people go to detention for that!" Samara looked surprised by her answer, "Oooh, my bad, sorry Mr. Harris called you out in class, but I just wanted to know what costume you were going to wear. Don't be mad." Samara was a little worried now, because one of her besties seem to be really mad at her now. They soon both walked into the cafeteria and saw a group of their friends sitting at their favorite table. The girls immediately went to get their tray of food so they could join their friends. "So, Mark, what costume are you going to wear this Saturday to Emma's Halloween birthday party?" Samara asked. "I'm going as Spider man and can't wait!" Samara looked pleased that she seemed to be the only one coming up with a creative costume for Saturday. "Why is everyone buying a costume instead of creating one yourself?" she asked her friends at the table. A couple of them just kept eating because they were hungry, but Tammy answered, "All of us can't be as creative as you Sam, plus it takes extra money to buy all that Halloween make up." David then said, "Yeah, the makeup can cost a lot, even for my zombie costume." Tammy blushed when David talked because she has a small crush on him. Samara looked and smiled at Tammy and asked, "Are we cool now, Tams?" Tammy just smiled and said, "Yeah, we cool, I can't stay mad at you for long you chica loca!" Tammy was always mixing Spanish words with English words when she talked. Her parents are of Puerto Rican descent, but she was born in Miami. Their names also rhymed: Tamara and Samara. Her nicknames are Tammy or Tams, and Samara's nicknames are Sammi or Sam. Samara felt much better now since her bestie is no longer mad at her. I guess it helped that they were all excited about Emma's party this upcoming Saturday afternoon. Or maybe Tammy was in a good mood because she was sitting next to David. They all finished eating their lunch and started to walk to their third period classes. "I will see you all after school, okay?" Samara said and everyone said goodbye to each other.
