Story #12 - First Day Back to School after Hurricane Matthew on Monday Eastern time: 10:15 am, October 10

Samara was so excited to be back at school after Hurricane Matthew passed them by. "Oh boy, that was a scary looking Hurricane, huh, Emma?" Emma was one of Samara's "BESTEST BESTIES!" She agreed with Samara and said, "Yes, it was, and guess what happened at Daniel's house?" Samara looked surprised, and asked, "What happened to his house?" They continued walking fast to their next class because the third period bell was about to ring. "Not happened TO his house, it happened AT his house...... 'memba the big tree in the front?" Samara thought for a moment, "Oh yes, that was our favorite tree to swing on." Daniel's parents had tied two big car tires on two branches on this big tree and the neighborhood kids would spend hours swinging from that tree. "Well, the Hurricane blew it over in their yard. The tree fell down and now they have to remove it." Samara was very saddened by this news, because this was a great big fun tree and gave a lot of cool shade in the summer. "Aaaww, man, that's horrible!" They were both saddened by this news, but the bell just rang so they will have to discuss Daniel's damaged tree later. Class is about to start!
