Story #20 - Emma's Party! Eastern time: Saturday morning, October 29, 2:30 pm

"Thank you! Thank you, mommy for my beautiful makeup for my costume!" Samara shouted. She was so excited for Emma and her other friends to see her costume. Her mother stitched together the final touches last night, and now she was ready to get dressed and go to the party! "Yippee ya yaay! I am so excited mommy, let's hurry to get to Emma's party!" Samara couldn't get dressed fast enough so she could get to her party early before everyone else. "Come on, mom! Let's go! Let's go!" Samara had gotten dressed in record time, and she was rushing out the door. "Slow down, Sammi, and stop rushing before you trip and fall!" Her mother warned her because her costume was a little narrow in the legs, and she could hardly walk. "That costume is not made for much walking, and especially not running!" Samara arrived at Emma's house at 2:30 pm, the exact time she told her she would. "Okay, thanks for the ride mom, and I will call you when I am ready to go home." Samara kissed her mother goodbye, grabbed Emma's gift, and rushed to knock on her front door. "Slow down Sammi before you fall!" her mother shouted out the car window to her. "Okay, mom, gosh." she whispered quietly. Emma's mom opened the door and waved hello at Samara's mom in the car. "You are early Sam, and you look so pretty! Emma will be so happy to see you. Emma! Sam is here!" her mother shouted upstairs to Emma. "Coming mom!" Emma came skipping down the stairs to see Samara. "Thank you, Mrs. Lambooni! Hi Emma, I love your princess costume and the twinkling lights on your crown!" This was no ordinary princess costume, oh no, she also had beautiful lights cascading down the sides and back of her gown. She looked absolutely gorgeous and magical! "You look like a twinkling pretty princess with a magical wand, Emma, and happy birthday!" Emma was blushing but she was also admiring Samara's costume, "That's a gorgeous costume too and you have twinkling lights too - I love it! I also love your face makeup!" Emma was admiring Samara costume and said, "That is the most beautiful mermaid costume I have ever seen, Sam! You also have beautiful flashing lights on your tail and I love it!" Samara's mermaid costume was very creatively designed and sewn by her mother. She had put lights and sparkling stones all over the bottom of the mermaid tail. It was a beautiful purple color with light colors of pink and light green mixed in. The lights were green and blinking. The only problem is it was hard to move her legs to walk, so she decided to sit for now. "I a glad that you came early before everyone arrived so that I could see you first!" Emma and Samara walked out to the back yard where there was music playing. "Have something to drink, Sam, and you can put my gift over here on this table." Emma was happy that her bestie had gotten there before everyone else because she could help make sure everything was perfect.
